Privacy policy
As of 5 November 2026.
Who is responsible
Section titled “Who is responsible”Max Freytag, Allersstr. 1, 21614 Buxtehude, Germany, mfreytag.studio@gmail.com. More in the imprint.
This policy covers this site. DaltonPilot runs in Blender on your computer and sends nothing anywhere: no data, no usage counts, no problem reports.
Visiting this site
Section titled “Visiting this site”Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) hosts this site. When you open a page, your browser sends your IP address, the page’s address, the time and details of your browser and system to Cloudflare’s servers. Cloudflare needs these to deliver the page and records them in its logs. Cloudflare processes these data on my behalf.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in a site that works and stays secure. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as adequate (Art. 45 GDPR).
This site sets no cookies. I use no analytics, no tracking and no profiling.
What your browser stores
Section titled “What your browser stores”The site keeps the colour theme you pick in your browser’s storage. It stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere. Storing it is necessary for the feature you use (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it in your browser’s settings at any time.
The search runs in your browser as well. Your search words are not sent anywhere.
When you write to mfreytag.studio@gmail.com, I receive your email address, your name if you give it, and your message, and I use them to answer you. The mailbox is a Gmail account, so Google stores the messages. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for questions about DaltonPilot or a purchase, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f). I delete the messages when your question is settled, unless the law requires me to keep them, such as for tax and business records.
Links to other sites
Section titled “Links to other sites”Links to other sites, such as Superhive Market or GitHub, lead to pages with their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to those sites before you click a link. If you open an issue on GitHub, GitHub’s privacy policy applies to what you write there.
Your rights
Section titled “Your rights”You can ask me for a copy of the data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR) and have it corrected (Art. 16), deleted (Art. 17) or its use restricted (Art. 18). You can receive data you gave me in a common format (Art. 20). You can object at any time to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). Write to mfreytag.studio@gmail.com.
Complaints
Section titled “Complaints”You can complain to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), such as the one responsible for me: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany, poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de.
